Biography:
Dr. Amgad Albohy is an associate professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, BUE. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from the University of Alberta, Canada, and was working at the Alberta Glycomics Centre. He was trained at both Friedrich Schiller University in Germany and the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC), University of Georgia, USA. Dr. Albohy is interested in the area of molecular modeling with a special focus on molecular docking and dynamics. His research focuses on the design of selective inhibitors among closely related isozymes.
